Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park- The Most Beautiful Place in China

Jiuzhaigou Valley is one of China’s best-known tourist attraction on account of its beautiful landscape of mountain and water. Jiuzhaigou Valley means “Valley of nine villages”, derived from 9 ancient Tibetan villages, hence the name.

Jiuzhaigou Valley is one of China
One of China's most beautiful secrets and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Nine Villages Valley (or Jiuzhaigou) is a natural wonderland, stumbled upon by a lumberjack in 1972. Covering over 700 square kilometres of magnificent mountain valleys, the area is dotted with nine traditional Tibetan villages (after which it is named) with plenty of striking alpine scenery and a number of protected species.

Jiuzhaigou is often compared to Yosemite, but there’s very little similarity – other than the fact that there are two valleys, perhaps Yosemite Valley and Hetch Hetchy. Yosemite for me is incredible, and Jiuzhaigou is spectacular, but nothing beats driving through the tunnel into Yosemite and that view of the valley, or rounding the bends at Glacier Point and seeing Half Dome, surrounded by clouds, and waterfalls.

It is truly glorious, even on a dull day as you can see..

With its outstanding natural view, Jiuzhaigou can be considered as a fairyland on the earth. Owing to its waterscapes formed by combining with waterfalls, rivers, shoals and 108 colorful lakes, Jiuzhaigou is inundated with tourists every year.
